Little girl's chemise of fine white lawn with a squared neck and extended armholes, all edged with white machine made lace and lines of stitching in aquamarine coloured thread. The garment is also trimmed at the neck front with three narrow vertical panels of lace filling stitch worked in aquamarine thread (each outlined with a row of stitching), and above the hem with a band of stitching and inserted lace to match that at the neck and armholes. The garment is flared in cut and fastens at the shoulders with ties of pale blue nylon ribbon.
