Mrs Park Young Sook, a distinguished Korean ceramic artist known for her pure white porcelains, collaborates with the painter Lee U Fan to produce a range of decorated table wares. This plate with a wide shallow rim, was made and signed by potter and painter in 2009. Its simple decoration of two apples has a peaceful charm, and complements the purity and warmth of the thinly glazed white porcelain.
