This interior design was possibly done for the showroom for Philip Blairman, antique dealer, at 23 Grafton Street, London. The showroom was decorated by the firm of Lenygon & Morant. This interior design is by Oswin Bateman-Brown. He worked for the decorating firm of Lenygon & Morant which designed interiors in the 1950s and 1960s. The antique dealers, H. Blairman & Sons and the decorating firm of Lenygon & Morant collaborated on interior design during this period. Together, they integrated new décor and antiques for clients.

Physical description

View of interior with fireplace above which is a circular looking glass in a gilded frame on a green trellis wallpaper on an adjoining wall is a window with dark pink curtains. The design is painted on brownish paper in a mount with a border in pale green wash.

H. Blairman's great grandson, Martin Levy, thinks that this interior design was possibly done for the showroom for Philip Blairman at 23 Grafton Street. The showroom was decorated by the firm of Lenygon & Morant.
