Child's dungarees, made of an unlined cotton and nylon blend woven in narrow red and white vertical stripes. The squared bib top has a decorative turn down flap stitched down with a red button at the point, and the rectangular patch pockets at the front have a matching finish. The dungarees have slightly tapering legs finishing in self fabric bands, and an elasticated waist back; they fasten with a metal zip fastener and hook and eye at the true left side, and with self fabric straps attached to the bib which button at the waist back. Decorative use has been made of the striped fabric by cutting the bib, pocket flaps and trouser bands with the stripes running horizontally.
