Brass container for oil, Nepal, 19th century
Physical description
Brass container used to hold cooking oil (Newari: chika tewu thala; Nepali: tel rakni bhado). The container is a cylindrical shape with a narrow neck. The lid has a small knob on top and screws onto the container.
