Pz. Zoomer (Lugt 1511); W. Esdaile (Lugt 2617; sale, Christie, 19 June 1840, lot 344 as by Manfredi); Dyce Bequest 1869 LITERATURE Dyce Catalogue no. 268 (as by Manfredi) The old attribution to Manfredi, maintined in the Department till lately, is improbably and perhaps orginiated in a misreading of the indistinct pencil inscription. The drawing had a Sienese character.
