Yehrin Tong (b.1979), a recent graduate of Central St Martin's in London, was commissioned by the V&A to create a programme cover for the Friday Late event 'Pen-Paper-Scissors' held in June 2009. Tong's design is an ingenious response to the theme, using snake-like coils incorporating fountain pen nibs and scissors. The drawing is extremely intricate and meticulously executed. Tong's previous work includes artwork for independent music labels, embroidery prints for fashion and typographic cover and editorial illustration.
