Object history
Bequeathed by Katharina Theophila Leonie Castelliz, granddaughter of the artist, the Austrian architect Niemann.

Historical significance: Various sculptures from the site of Trysa are now in the Kunsthistorisches Museum, Vienna. Niemann was an archaeologist as well as an architect, and this drawing is a record of the site showing the position of the remaining tombs.
