Object history
Posted to the V&A anonymously: a minute of 28/12/1955 to Textiles Dept on the RF Anonymous Textiles 1923-59 MA/2/A states: "Five articles of clothing have been received without a covering letter and they are in the TR [Transit Room] awaiting collection. The wrapping contains an address of a Mrs M Legerton of Croydon and I phoned her but she denies sending any textiles to the museum." (the other 3 pieces were baby robes)
