Glove puppet representing the character 'Parker' from the 1960s television series Thunderbirds. The head is formed from pink flesh-coloured PVC, the head and neck are hollow with a moulded flange. The facial features are moulded and painted: it has black hair and eyebrows, eyes and red lips. The body is a brown cotton 'glove' which is elasticated at the neck to the fit the flange of the head. The front is decorated with four rows of two red dots. The hands are of yellow cream cotton, shaped as mittens and sewn on.

Historical context
The character Parker was Lady Penelope's butler in the television series Thunderbirds. The series used marionettes instead of live actors. It was the creation of Gerry Anderson who produced several other successful TV series.
