Pair of earrings made from the heads of honeycreepers, a small bird in the tanager family with brilliant blue feathers, stuffed and finished with yellow glass eyes. They are represented as each catching a gilt fly, to the head of each is fastened the pin. From the neck of each bird hangs a pampille-style gilt copper alloy fringe.
