Jim Edmiston began his toymaking business in 1982. He is based in Bath. His range of toys include animal boxes, mobiles, roundabouts and Noah’s Arks. All are made by hand from best quality birch ply or seasoned pine using non-toxic washable stains and paints. His decorative approach shows the influence of tribal and folk art. He also makes larger one-off pieces for exhibitions and commissions. These have been shown all over Britain, Sweden and America.
