Harvey and Darton was a printing, publishing, engraving, and bookselling firm originally founded in 1791 as Darton and Harvey when Joseph Harvey (1764-1841) became a partner of William Darton Senior (1755-1819). The name changed as various members of both families became involved in the business. It was known as Harvey and Darton between 1819 and 1833 when it was run by Joseph Harvey and William's son Samuel Darton (1785-1840).
The firm was best known for publishing children's books but also published and sold games puzzles and toys.
