Baby's carrying cape of red wool trimmed with red silk braid.
(from original 1963 register) Cape of red woollen cloth. It is a semicircular shape, which has been gathered onto a small curved yoke at the shoulders, with a half cape and a small turn down collar. To the edges of the collar, the cape and at the front opening of the cloak are stitched narrow bands of silk braid arranged in a formal floral pattern linked by arabesques. The main body of the cloak is lined with white cotton, the fronts faced back with silk. At the neck is a white taffeta ribbon for fastening and a white metal hook.
