Baby's circumcision gown, of white linen with a central princess-line panel of white machine-made lace and embroidery. The panel has three deep frills worked with sprays of daisy-like flowers and fan-shaped motifs.
Object history
This gown was made by Minna Paiba for the circumcision of her first son. It was later worn by his two brothers and then by another two generations of the family - Minna's grandson Kenneth and his son Simon.
