Toy projector of dark red Bakelite, with internal clockwork mechanism activated by a metal switch at the back, and key. The films are single strips, fed through a narrow slot in the side. The top can be removed to access the lightbulb fitting. It has five metal cannisters, each containing a roll of film and a printed introduction. The titles are:
1: 'Circus'
2: 'The Big Parade'
3: 'Cowboy Joe'
4: 'The Air Pirate'
5: 'The Treasure Island'

With the projector is a small screen, with a shiny aluminium-coated paper surface, framed with black paper-covered card, with a fold-out triangular support at the back. There is also a set of instructions for setting-up the screen, including that it should be placed thirty-two inches (about 80cm) away from the projector. There are four spare bulbs.
