Attribution note: Jack Hampshire, author of 'Prams Mailcarts & Bassinets' commented on seeing it that push-chairs of this type were produced mainly for the UK holiday market. They were evidently so cheaply produced that many families could afford to buy one while on holiday and if need be leave it behind on returning home.
