(original 1962 description): Pair of child's shoes. The shoes are made of white suede with a white ribbon bow...They are almost flat, with a 1/8 of an inch heel. The toes are broad and rounded, and there is an ankle strap cut in one with [each] shoe. There is a pearly button at one end and a button hole at the other end of the strap. The shoes are lined with white kid. The soles are of leather.
