This cloche hat is made from brushed, brown velour and is bell-shaped with shorter brim at the front and back. It has decorative band of light brown Petersham ribbon. On one side the ribbon is fashioned into a bow shape with three rolls of ribbon.

| Physical description | Child's cloche hat of brown velour with brown, decorative Petersham ribbon, which has been fashioned into a bow. The exterior band of Petersham ribbon is a lighter colour to the internal Petersham ribbon and runs over the brim at the back of this hat. It fits snuggly around the hat causing the back of the hat to crease, which suggests that the band is not the original. The internal ribbon has 'Real Velour' printed on it. |
