Set of four magic lantern lever slides, with mahogany frames. The background scenes are painted on a circular pane of glass, with a small section of the scene painted on the inside of a second circular pane. Both panes are set into a brass frame. The second pane can be moved by means of a brass lever which is attached to brass frame. The scenes are: a horse eating from a trough; a ship rolling in the sea at twilight, near a lighthouse; a violinist playing his instrument; a monkey ducking a cat in a well (lever missing).
