Globular 'gorge'-shaped mug with low turned cylindrical foot and cylindrical neck, and loop handle protruding aboe rim. The front of the mug has a moulded or stamped circular medallion, with royal monogram 'GR' above a winged cherub's head and below a crown, and this is surrounded by a sunburst and a stylised symmetrical pattern of leaves incised in the clay and painted in cobalt blue.

Physical description
Globular 'gorge'-shaped mug with low turned cylindrical foot and cylindrical neck, and loop handle protruding aboe rim. The front of the mug has a moulded or stamped circular medallion, with royal monogram 'GR' above a winged cherub's head and below a crown, and this is surrounded by a sunburst and a stylised symmetrical pattern of leaves incised in the clay and painted in cobalt blue.
