This bronze plaquette is made by the French medallist Henry Nocq (1868-1944) in 1901 and depicts the bust to the left of Eugène Carrière.
Eugène Carrière (1849–1906) was an important French painter and printmaker. He specialised in domestic scenes that often included members of his own family.
Henry Nocq (1868- 1944), was a sculptor and medallist and one of the most qualified representatives of modern French Art. He studied under Chapu, and first began to exhibit at the Paris Salon in 1887.
