Descriptive line

Glove puppet of Judy from a Punch and Judy show with carved and painted head, face and hands. The face is rather crudely painted with large blue eyes, individually painted black lower lashes, blue painted eye sockets and dark red areas of paint on the nose and cheeks. She wears a paisley patterned long-sleeved cotton dress and a white cotton apron over the clack sleeve that covers the professor's hand. She has a removable cotton bonnet in pink, cream and blue patterned material which features white koala bears climbing up the blue 'sugar canes'. The bonnet is piped with red bias binding and finished with a red bias binding tie under the neck. English, 20th century
