SET DESIGN FOR FLESH TO A TIGER
1958
This design for Flesh to a Tiger captures the squalor and decay of a Jamaican shanty town. In the play, single mother Della is torn between tribal superstition and traditional medicine to save her baby’s life. The character was played by acclaimed jazz singer Cleo Laine.
