Enamel miniature possibly depicting Armand Charles de la Porte, Duc de la Meilleraye, husband of Hortense Mancini, Duchesse de Mazarin. Three-quarter face bust portrait of a brown-eyed man turning his head slightly. He has long brown curly hair, a small moustache, and wears yellow armour, a lace cravat tied beneath the chin with a red ribbon, and across his right shoulder the blue ribbon of the Order of the Saint Esprit. It has also been suggested that the sitter could be Louis XIV. Dark blue background.
