Physical description

Three studies in red chalk of a man hammering at an anvil for a composition entitled 'Iron', for the doors of the Geological Museum. On the reverse is another study for the central figure of the same subject. Sheet also bears a faint stamp with the mark 'Ex. Coll. Hugh Stannus'.
