Bodycolour miniature landscape depicting two men, a woman, and a laden mule in the foreground. In the background is a watermill with two women washing clothes in a stream. Beyond them are two ruined arches and a church. Signed and dated.

This miniature has hitherto been ascribed to Henri Désiré van Blarenberghe, but is thought to be more probably the work of his nephew Henri Joseph van Blarenberghe.
