Physical description | Square shaped shawl of pale grey silk chiffon, finished with a long black silk fringe. Ground has bold abstract motifs applied in black, red and cream silk velvets gold lamé and mid-grey silk taffeta. The motifs vary but the black, gold and grey are angular with zig-zag outlines and the red, cream are curvilinear and resemble flames. The appliqué is hand-stitched to the chiffon ground. |
