Sketchbook: Design for Lights The sketchbook, dating from 1985, also contains designs for furniture, ornament and fantastic schemes. The term Postmodern, borrowed from literature, was first used by Charles Jencks in The Language of Post-modern Architecture, 1974. It was largely as a result of his books that the term achived wide currency.
