Gallery label
The Wiener Werkstätte, a production cooperative of art workers in Vienna, was set up in 1903 and by 1905 was employing over 100 people. Its postcard series consisted of over 900 images and was partly responsible for the promotion and adaptation of the 'progressive' Secessionist style as a popular form.(circa 2000-2019)
