These are emergency banknotes for the Thüringische Staatsbank, designed to allow space for the rapidly inflating mark to be inserted as the figure increased. Compared with the other banknotes Bayer's stood out for their use of 'Venus Grotesk', a sans-serif typeface, and geometric decoration.(circa 2000-2019)
