Child's dress, of unlined white muslin, with a high-waisted bodice, low drawstring neck and short sleeves. The bodice and sleeves are embroidered in white with looped lattice motifs of tambour-work; the bodice has insertions of sprigged needlerun net, and the sleeves are edged with scalloped needlerun net worked in neoclassical motifs. The narrow skirt is of spotted muslin with three tucks above the hem, and the dress fastens at the back of the bodice with drawstrings at neck and waist.
