Girl's fitted dress of sky blue satin lined with white cotton twill. The dress has a rounded neck, finished with a standing band of self fabric edged with cream-coloured machine-made lace, and a turn-down collar of self fabric, edged with scalloped cream-coloured needlerun net (worked in stylized flower and leaf motifs). The bodice front has panels of gauging at the chest and waist, and the wrist-length inset sleeves have cream-coloured machine-made lace cuffs. The dress is in a low-waisted style with a pleated skirt, and a self fabric sash effect with a bow at the back; it fastens at the front with white metal buttons and stitched buttonholes, with a metal hook and stitched loop at the neck front.
