Sketchbook of 55 leaves of wove paper in brown morocco binding fitted with a brass clasp and marbled endpapers, containing drawings of figures and scenes, made during a visit to the United States. Some of these sketches formed the basis of the illustrations for a series of articles entitled "Pictures from America," which appeared in The Graphic, vols. I and II, 1870.
