A sketchbook consisting of 104 pages of wove paper in a brown cloth cover. The sketchbook contains drawings of views in Switzerland and of shipping, some with brief notes as to colour. Among the places indicated by name are Lausanne (pp. 9, 13), Moudon (pp. 11, 14, 15), Bern (pp. 33, 35), Guimenen (p. 37), St. Blaize (pp. 39, 43), Hauterive (p. 41), Neuveville (p. 53), Valley of the Birs near Court (p. 58), Sonceboz (pp. 59, 61-63), Valley of the Birs (pp. 60, 65), Valley of the Birs looking towards Court (p. 64), Valley of Moutier (p. 67), Moutier (p. 69) and Munster Thal (p. 71).
