Here, an Aryan woman and a boy, probably her son, carry a basket of clothing as they collect materials for the production of goods, for the support of the German Reich. The woman leads by example, demonstrating to the boy the importance of being a moral and hard-working citizen. Charitable collections of this type were of particular importance during the winter of 1941, after Goebbels' appeal for clothing for the German troops fighting at the Russian Front.
