Four views recto-verso: 1. view of Cairo, the Nile and the Pyramids of Giza; 2. view of the Nile between Cairo and Alexandria; 3. view of the 'new' harbour at Alexandria; 4. Three figures, a dragoman, a European envoy, and an attendant, on mules or donkeys, approaching a town on the Nile, possibly Rosetta. The sheets were formerly bound and relate to a European ambassadorial visit to Egypt; artist unknown; about 1510-1520.
