Gallery 100: A History of Photography: Series and Sequences, 6 February 2015 – 1 November 2015. In 1854, the Great Exhibition showcased arts and industry, including photography, from around the world. It took place in the Crystal Palace in Hyde Park. The building was subsequently moved and reconstructed in south London. These important early photographs, taken moments apart, show Queen Victoria and Prince Albert at the re- opening ceremony on 10 June 1854. (03/02/2015)
