This Knitting Nancy set belonged to a child called Wendy in the 1930s. She kept her Knitting Nancy with her Knatty Knitter a English spool knitting toy. It is designed to be a very easy way to knit, and Wendy must have liked to knit a lot as in the box is 810 cm of knitted cord she made with muti-coloured wool.

Boxed Knitting Nancy set made in Germany by Spears in the late 1930s
Physical description
Boxed Knitting Nancy set, a wooden painted Nancy with red shoes, green dress and hat. With 11 balls of wool in mutli colours and a instruction booklet. There is a second, more simply carved wooden Knitting Nancy with ball of knitted product and a bookle,t 'Knatty Knitter.' These are probably not part of the original set were is probably made by a different company.
