The Aston Martin car is a model of the James Bond car used in the film Goldfinger. Goldfinger was released in 1964 with Sean Connery playing James Bond who as a special agent has to stop Goldfinger from stockpiling gold to become the wealthiest man in the world. This toy version made by the famous British company, Mettoy, as part of its Corgi range. The car was one of the best selling toys of 1965 and was that year's Toy of the Year, awarded by the British Association of Toy Retailers.

Physical description

Metal toy car, James Bonds Aston Martin DB5, the car is a model of the car used in the Goldfinger movie. The car is gold in colour and has a boot and roof that opens and two metal parts that pop out at the front of the car (probably rocket launchers or guns). There are two small plastic figures that sit inside the car. The car is boxed and comes with a pull out card insert and a leaflet.
