Sporran, consisting of a flat ovoid leather pouch set in a curved mount of white metal which is decorated at the front with strapwork patterns and stylized four legged animals with strapwork tails. The front of the sporran is covered by a long fringe of cream coloured horsehair, decorated with two long tufts of black horsehair in conical mounts of white metal which hang from short chains. The back of the pouch is of dark green leather topstiched in white, and has a gusseted opening, with a self tab to hold it shut. The sporran fastens about the body with a clip on chain and leather strap attached to each side of the tab's mount: one strap is punched with holes along its length, the other terminates in a buckle.
