This relief representing St. George and the dragon was probably made in the late 15th century South German. This is carved in Mother of pearl and set in a silver gilt mount. On the back is carved the Virgin and Child.

| Physical description | Carved mother of pearl relief depicting St George and the dragon. St George, helmeted and in armour rides to the left, the wide sleeves of his surcoat flying in the wind. He turns to his left and spears the dragon in the mouth as it lies beneath the horse. On the right a small praying figure, the king's daughter. The relief is convex and the surface worn. On the reverse is roughly engraved the Virgin with flowing hair and no halo, holding the Child with her right arm. The relief has a silver gilt mount with two rings. |
