At least three miniaturists are recorded of the name Laurent: these are A. Laurent (exhibited 1801-8), F.-S. Laurent (1776-1848) and J.-A. Laurent (1763-1832). It is uncertain to which, if any, of these artists P.5-1955 should be ascribed.
