Object history
Gown for an unidentified character in Rosella Hightower's ballet 'Henry VIII and his Wives' performed by the Markova-Dolin Ballet at the Metropolitan Opera House, New York, ?17th October 1947. The music for the ballet was arranged by Robert Zeller after works by Rossini, and the scenery and costumes were designed by Russell Hartley.
