Headdress for Francesca worn by Lubov Tchernicheva in Scene 2 (?) of David Lichine's ballet 'Francesca da Rimini', Colonel de Basil's Ballets Russes, Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, 15th July 1937. The music for the ballet was by Tchaikovsky, and the libretto was by Lichine and Henry Clifford after Dante. The scenery and costumes were designed by Oliver Messel.
