One on right seated on a bench in a green robe, ink-blue hood and blue halo. One on left kneels and has a dark blue ro be anbd green halo. Between them a maroon jar on a chequered floor.

Historical context
The upper and lower parts of the window of which the Christ at Emmaus@ formed the centre panel, consisted of clear quarries of antiqued glass with two inset scrolls. They were photographed and then destroyed.
