Physical description

Fragment of a beaker or bowl body, bird painted in gold outlined in red enamel with blue ground, set within a medallion also outlined in red. For similar decorative scheme, see bottle in Cairo Museum of Islamic Art, illustrated in Atil, Arts of the Arab World, 1976, p.145, no.141.
