In 1973, General Pinochet's brutal military coup led to the installation of a military dictatorship in the South American country of Chile. The civil rights of many Chileans were viciously suppressed. This poster was part of a London-based campaign to make people aware of the Chilean plight. Its focus is British collaboration with Pinochet's government, highlighting in particular the UK's scandalous provision of two submarines for Chilean military use.
