Glove puppet of the Black Man with carved and painted face and hair. He wears a long maroon cotton robe with a border of black fabric to conceal the Professor's arm. He wears a pleated cloak in blue woollen fabric, possibly made from a woman's skirt. His hands are covered in brown fabric, tied at the wrists to simulate boxing gloves
