Physical description

Glove puppet of a white-faced Clown with carved and painted face and hands, and three tufts of chestnut brown hair carved and painted. He wears a white artificial fabric robe with a ruff of the same fabric, trimmed with red braid. His cuffs are trimmed with red and black braid and there is a blue artificial silk central panel on his robe trimmed with navy, white and red braid and two red felt 'buttons' which also feature in the flounced panel at knee-height on his robe
